The Prime Minister and BJP leader Narendra Modi said that the agendas of BJP party reflect the Aatma Nirbhar Assam by providing job opportunity and improving the socio-economic conditions in Assam. Shri Modi addressed two political rallies in Sipajhar in Darrang district and Bihpuria in Lakhimpur district Assam yesterday.
While speaking in the political meeting held at Narayanpur in Bihpuria assembly constituency this afternoon, Shri Modi said that since the BJP led state government came to the power, LPG connection has been provided to many households and benefits for medical treatment upto five lakh has been given under Ayushmaan Bharat.
He also said that
the present government has opened eight medical colleges in Assam that will improve the healthcare facility in the State.
He said that the border fencing works in Dubhri area has already completed and works in other border areas are undergoing. The yearlong land related issue faced by the State has been settled amicably during the regime of BJP led government in Assam.
Shri Modi also praised the Assam government on how the BJP State government handled the COVID-19 pandemic in the State and announced that the Centre government sanctioned an amount of Rupees one thousand crore for the welfare of tea garden workers of Assam.
