Prime Minister and Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi will formally launch the poll campaign of NDA for Lok Sabha elections in Bihar from Jamui today. Mr. Modi will address a public meeting in Ballopur in Khaira block of Jamui district. This will be the first political meeting of the Prime Minister in Bihar after the announcement of seat sharing among NDA constituents.
JD(U) President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, leaders of BJP, Lok Janashakti Party (Ramvilas), former Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha and
Upendra Kushwaha led Rashtriya Lok Morcha will also attend the meeting.
Chirag Paswan led Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) is contesting Jamui seat consecutive third time. Chirag Paswan has fielded Arun Bharati, his brother in law, from the constituency earlier represented by him twice in 2014 and 2019.
Polling will be held on 19th April in Jamui Lok Sabha segment along with Gaya, Aurangabad and Nawada under the first phase of Lok Sabha elections.
