Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi yesterday criticized the BJP, raising issues of unemployment and MSP for farmers. Addressing the party’s Vijay Sankalp Rally in the Assandh constituency of Karnal District, Haryana, Mr Gandhi alleged that youths in the state are facing challenges due to unemployment.
On the issue of MSP for farmers, Mr Gandhi claimed that the BJP government has failed to provide
loan waiver relief to farmers. Highlighting the salient features of the party manifesto, Mr Gandhi said Congress would provide 300 units of free electricity and a 2,000-rupee pension to the women of the state. Haryana Congress Chief Udai Bhan, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Congress MP Kumari Selja, and other senior leaders were present in the rally.
