NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar yesterday responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “bhatakti aatma” (wondering soul) comment, saying his soul is “asvastha” (restless) for the cause of farmers and the common man. Mr Pawar said that it is true that his soul is ‘asvastha’ (restless) but not for personal reasons. 

While



addressing a rally at Shirur in Maharashtra’s Pune district for NCP (SP)’s candidate, Mr Pawar highlighted that he is restless to voice the struggles of the common people affected by inflation. NCP chief said that he is prepared to be restless a hundred times to bring awareness to the people’s woes.
