Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reaffirmed that he will not let anyone reduce the reservation quota for SC, ST, and OBC communities. 

Addressing a rally in Dondaicha, Dhule district, he accused the Congress of being soft on terrorism. Mr Shah said security is a priority for the NDA government. The BJP leader also addressed an election rally in Jintur.

President Mallikarjun Kharge hit out at the NDA government at the Centre for not increasing the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for soybean crops. He also criticized the Central government for making false promises and deceiving farmers. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray also addressed a rally in Sawantwadi. NCP(SP) leader Sharad Pawar also addressed rallies in different constituencies in Pune.
