EC orders FIRs against Agra, Moradabad candidates of SP, BSP and Peace Party

Moradabad District Magistrate Zuhair Bin Sagheer said an FIR has been lodged against BSP candidate from Moradabad City, Ateeq Ahmed Siafi, for violation of the model code of conduct and EC regulations.

“According to EC rules, no candidate can



spend more than Rs 27 lakh on poll campaign. The BSP candidate is said to have claimed in the video, which has been aired on television, that he has spent Rs 4 crore. Investigation is on to verify the authenticity of the video,” he added.
