In Uttar Pradesh only two days are left for campaigning for 5th phase of Assembly elections and all major political parties have put their maximum strengths to woo voters.
A total of 52 constituencies spread over 11 districts of Tarai and eastern regions of the state will go to poll on Monday. The districts covered in this phase are Balrampur, Gonda, Faizabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Bahraich, Shravasti, Siddharth Nagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Amethi and Sultanpur.618 candidates including 44 females are in the fray for this phase of Assembly elections. Around one crore fourty lakh voters will decide the fate of these candidates. The election commission has set



up 19,167 polling stations.
Leaders of different political parties have crossed the poll bound districts to address public meetings and rallies in the favour of their party or alliance candidates.
Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing his party's Parivartan rally today at Gonda district. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be addressing rallies at Baharaich, Basti and Balrampur district while his ally Samajwadi Party leader and Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav will be addressing 7 public meetings at Faizabad and Ambedkar Nagar districts. BSP supremo Mayawati has completed her campaigning for this phase.
