Akhilesh Yadav has dared the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to join the debate
with him on the issue of development. He alleged that the BJP captured
power in 2014 by making false promises and leading the people on the garden path
and Narendra Modi will cease to be the prime minister after 2019.
Addressing series of election
meeting in Faizabad, Amebdarnagar and other districts going to polls in fifth
phase of assembly elections Akhilesh Yadav said ``not a single metro train project
was implemented in BJP ruled states and now Narendra Modi is promising
bullet train ‘’. He added `` will the bullet train also come to UP, they have
done nothing for the bullet train in last three years and nothing
will happen in remaining two years’’.
Continuing the war of words with
the prime minister over the discrimination with the people on the grounds
of caste and religion Akhilesh Yadav said ``the prime minister should
enquire from the meritorious students who were given free laptop computers and
the meritorious girl students who were given money under `Kanya vidya dhan’
yojna of the state government.
style="outline: none;">IN an obvious dig at the prime
minister, Akhilesh Yadav said ``we do not promote graveyard and crematorium we
have a very progressive agenda which includes laptop computers and Smartphone
and development of the state’’.
“BJP is pursuing a divisive agenda
and they have divided even the electricity on the lines of religion—diwali and
ramzaan. SP government has ensured round the clock power supply to urban areas.
Will the BJP add more hours in 24 hoursschedule of the day’’, asked
Akhilesh Yadav. SP president maintained that `` prime minister was
furnished incorrect information and the state government has ensured 24 hour
power supply on the festivals of all religion’’.
Accusing the prime minister of
making fun of the Lucknow-Agra expressway SP president said ``instead of
questioning the performance of the SP government the prime minister
should tell the people as to what his government has done for the people
of UP in last three years’’. He said the people of UP had enough `man ki
baat’ by the prime minister and now they were interested in results and `kaam
ki baat’ by Narendra Modi.
