Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav, wife of party president and chief minister Akhilesh Yadav campaigned in Agra on Wednesday and appealed to the voters to support the Samajwadi Party   and return the party to power for another term. Dimple, along with SP Rajya Sabha MP and former film star Jaya Bachchan campaigned in three assembly seats of the Agra district where polling would be held in the first phase on February 11.
“Please you all support your bhaiyya so that he could retain the seat,” Dimple appealed to the people in her first public meeting in this elections at Bah assembly constituency.    She said that her husband had worked honestly for the past five years and I can promise that the remaining work in your



area would be completed once our party is voted back to power. The Kannauj MP said that the CM always worked for the uplift of the youths, poor and the farmers.
Due to his effort now the rural areas are getting 18 hours electricity. “The new Agra- Lucknow expressway will accelerate the development in the region and the farmers of the area would be most benefitted,” said Dimple Yadav. Jaya Bacchan in her brief speech, claimed that Akhilesh Yadav is a symbol of youth in the country and the Samajwadi Party by forging an alliance with the Congress,is set to sweep the elections in UP and form the next government . Jaya also criticised the BJP government at the Centre for its anti-people policies line the ban on currency notes.
