4: 50 pm: Over 55 per cent turnout has been recorded till 4 PM in the third phase, PTI reports.
4: 20 pm: Addressing an election rally in Jaunpur, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan promises to give interest free loans to farmers in Uttar Pradesh.
3: 55 pm: Over 53 per cent voter turnout has been recorded till 3pm in the third phase of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, ANI reports.
3: 10 pm: Meanwhile, noted Bhojpuri film actor Ravi Kishan has joined the BJP in presence of the party chief Amit Shah. BJP leaders hope that his campaign for the party will help the party in eastern Uttar Pradesh, which will go to the polls in the coming phases.
3: 00 pm: Over 44 per cent votes were cast till 2 PM in the 69 Assembly constituencies, which is considered as ruling Samajwadi Party stronghold, PTI

2: 55 pm: Taking a dig at the Prime Minister, Akhilesh said Modi talks about blood pressure, but once election results are out all BJP leaders will have to get their blood pressure checked.
2: 50 pm: Addressing a joint rally in Jhansi with Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said, “I want to tell BJP that it is not the alliance of two families but of two young politicians to bring about change.”
2:05 pm: Voting is still underway in 69 constituencies of Uttar Pradesh. There have been no reports of EVM machines not working or security issues so far. Leaders like Mulayam Singh Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, Rajnath Singh among others cast their votes in their respective constituencies.
1:50 pm: PM Narendra Modi is addressing a rally in Fatehpur, UP.
1:35 pm: 38.96 per cent voting  recorded .
