In 38th National Games, Haryana’s Suruchi wins Gold medal in women’s 10 metre air pistol scoring 245.7 points. Haryana also bagged silver to secure the top position.

In rowing,. Services secured the gold medal in the men’s double sculls, and also claimed the top spot in the men’s coxless four sculls event. Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh women’s team clinched gold in the quadruple sculls event and also emerged victorious in the women’s coxless pair category.

In the women’s K-1 slalom event, Andhra Pradesh’s Nagidi Gayatri put on a spectacular show, winning the gold medal and proving her mettle. Meanwhile, football fans were treated to an electrifying match, where Kerala edged past Assam 3-2 to book their place in the men’s football final. Both teams played aggressively, but Kerala managed to take the decisive lead and seal the victory.

Uttarakhand delivered an outstanding



performance in lawn bowls. In a nail-biting contest in the Under-25 Boys category, Uttarakhand defeated Assam 21-20 to clinch the gold medal. Jharkhand also bagged three gold medals, while Delhi and West Bengal registered title victories. In archery, Rajasthan’s Rajat Chauhan delivered an impressive performance, winning the gold medal in the compound men’s category, while Hrithik Sharma from Jammu and Kashmir secured silver. In the compound men’s team archery event, Delhi won gold, Haryana took silver, and Rajasthan claimed the bronze. Meanwhile, in the compound women’s team event, Punjab won gold, Maharashtra took silver, and Telangana secured bronze.

Looking at the medal tally, Karnataka leads the race with 28 gold medals, closely followed by Services with 27 Golds.
