Chennai: In the 44th Chess Olympiad, India has climbed to the second spot in the seventh round yesterday. Dr. Ebenezer Joseph, FIDE trainer and Coach said that India's Gukesh played fast like a computer whiz yesterday. Gukesh won all the rounds that he has played till now in the Olympiad.

arbiter and Arjuna Awardee 86 year old Manuel Aaron visited the venue of the Chess Olympiad yesterday and encouraged the players. Chennai also called the Mecca of Chess has produced grandmasters and World Champions like Viswanathan Anand who ruled the game for many decades and also Pragyananda and international chess champions.
