Former Indian women’s cricket captain, Mithali Raj, has been appointed as the Mentor of Women’s Cricket Operations by the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA). Raj, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest female cricketers, has signed a three-year contract with the ACA.
Her primary responsibility will be to scout and nurture
young talent across the state, with a focus on developing the next generation of women cricketers.
Raj, who retired from international cricket in 2022, has long been an advocate for women’s sports and will bring her extensive knowledge and expertise to her new role with the ACA.
