Ankita Raina Bowed Out Of WTA Veneto Open Tournament Losing To Susan Bandecchi

In Tennis, India’s Ankita Raina bowed out of WTA Veneto Open tournament losing to Susan Bandecchi of Switzerland in the Women’s singles Quarter-final yesterday. Ankita went down 4-6, 7-6, 3-6 at Gaiba in Italy.

In the pre-quarterfinal, Ankita had defeated Irina Bara of Romania, 6-2, 2-6, 6-Nil.

The Veneto Open is a WTA 125- level professional women’s tennis tournament.
