India's Ankita Raina has bowed out of the French Open qualifiers in Paris. She lost in the Women's Singles first round against Russia's Evgeniya Rodina, 3-6, 6-7.

Earlier, Sumit Nagal had lost to the 10th seeded Slovak Martin Klizan 6-4, 4-6, 1-6 in the Men's Singles opening



round.

Yuki Bhambri, who broke into the top-100 of ATP rankings, has earned a direct entry into the main draw.

The French Open, which is the second Grand Slam of the season, known as Roland Garros, begins on Sunday.
