Argentina beat Spain 4-3 while New Zealand defeat France 2-1 in the Men's Hockey World Cup

On day two of Men’s Hockey World Cup, New Zealand beat France 2-1 in a Pool-A match at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar on Thursday.

Earlier, in another Pool-A match, Olympic gold medalist Argentina defeated Spain 4-3. 

Two matches are scheduled in Men's Hockey World Cup today. In Pool- B encounter, Australia will face Ireland at 5 PM while England will meet China at 7 in the



evening at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Australia and Ireland haven't faced each other in the World Cup yet. Since 2013, the two teams have met twice, Australia winning both the games. 

England and China have met just once since 2013 with England turning the result in their favour. The two teams haven't met yet in the World Cup.
