India drew South Korea 1-1, in their first match of the Super4 stage at Dhaka.After a goalless first half, the Koreans took the lead through Jungjun Lee's goal. Gurjant Singh scored the equaliser for India in the final minutes.
India had finished the pool stages with an all-win record. Korea, on the other hand, finished second in Pool B, behind Malaysia.
Overall, India’s first match in the Super 4s turned out to be
shift from what they faced in the other matches. South Korea came with a defensive mindset and executed their plan to perfection for most of the match.
