Asian Games Hangzhou 2023: India beat Pakistan in squash by 3-0

Hangzhou: In Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, India beat Pakistan in squash by 3-0. India also trounced Singapore by 16-1  in Men's Hockey group match today.  Indian Men's 4x100m Medley Relay Team qualified for the final after finishing overall fourth in the heats with a timing of 3:40.84s. 

In tennis  Women's Singles, India's Ankita Raina triumphs over Aditya Patil from Hong Kong with an impressive score of 6-1, 6-2 in the Round of 16, With this win she marches into the quarter-finals. Roshibina Devi has also guaranteed India at least bronze in



Wushu.

However, it is a bad day for Indian Shooters. Ramita Jindal and Divyansh Singh Panwar suffered a narrow defeat in the 10m air rifle mixed team bronze medal match. In women's sabre individual event, Bhavani Devi suffered a 7-15 defeat against China's Shao Yaqi in the quarterfinals.

India stands at 5th position with a total of 11 medals including two gold medals won yesterday at  Men's 10m Air Rifle event.

In total, 655 Indian athletes are competing at the Asian Games 2023.
