Asian Games Hangzhou: India trounced Singapore by 16-1 in Men's Hockey group match

In Asian Games 2023 at Hangzhou , India trounced Singapore by 16-1 in Men's Hockey group match today.The vollyball match between India and its arch rival Pakistan is also underway. Indian fencer Bhavani Devi began her campaign with five wins on the bounce in the women's individual sabre pool bouts. She beated Juliet Jie Min Heng by 5-2, followed by a 5-1 victory against Alhsna Abdulrahman Alhammad and a 5-3 success



against Karina Dospay in her first three contests. 

She defeated the current Senior Asian champion, Zaynab from Uzbekistan.  Bhavani Devi will be in action in the next round, starting at 9:00 AM  today.

As of now India stands at 5th position with a total of 11 medals including two gold medals.
