Hangzhou: At Hanghzou Asian Games in China, India amassed a total of historic 81 medals, including 18 gold, 31 silver, and 32 bronze, India is currently in fourth place in the overall medal tally. This is India's best-ever performance at the Asian Games surpassing the previous best of 70 medals at the 18th edition Asian Games in Jakarta.
 
In Archery today, Indian trio Surekha, Parneet and Aditi advanced to the semifinals after defeating Hong Kong with a score of 231:220. In Badminton, PV Sindhu will face Bingjiao of China in a short while.  In men's javelin throw, Neeraj Chopra bagged Gold with a stellar throw of 88.88m while his compatriot Kishore



Jena secured silver medal, yesterday.

Today, The Indian contingent will hope to continue their rich haul on Day 12 of the Asian Games with plenty of events lined-up throughout the day. The pair of Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Singh will be in action in the mixed doubles finals, while Saurav Ghosal will aim for an elusive gold in men's singles action. 

The women's hockey team will lock horns with hosts China in semifinal action. In other events of the day, Wrestling, Roller skating, Ju-Jitsu, Kabaddi and chess would be the events where India would have high hopes.
