Hangzhou: India has secured a total of 27 medals including 7 gold, 9 silver, and 11 bronze in the Asian Games 2023 at Hangzhou, China. In men's rifle 3-P team event, featuring the trio Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Swapnil Kusale and Akhil Sheoran clinched the gold medal today. 

Earlier this morning Esha Singh, Palak and Divya grabbed a silver medal in the women's 10m air pistol team event while the men's double tennis final between Ramkumar Ramanathan and Saketh Myneni against Chinese Taipei is underway. chinese Taipei's is leading with 2 points when the last report came in.

Yesterday, in men’s 10m air pistol team event, Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema and Shiva Narwal clinched a gold while Anush Agarwalla made history by securing a bronze medal in the



Equestrian Dressage Individual event. In Wushu, Roshibina Devi received a silver medal while both the men’s and women’s teams have assured themselves a medal in squash by making it to the semi-finals.

Today, India's ace boxer Nikhat Zareen will face Hanan Nassar of Jordan in women's 50 kg category in the quarterfinal. In chess, Indian chess prodigy R. Praggnanandhaa and D Gukesh will be in action with men's chess team while Koneru Humpy will be leading the women's team today at the Asian Games at Hangzhou. 

Additionally, the Women's Hammer Final, Cycling Track Men's Madison Final, Women's Shot Put Final, handball, hockey and squash will be the other events where India would have high hopes for medals.
