Australia crushed Pakistan by 220-run to
sweep the series 3-0 on the fifth and final day of the third Cricket test in
Sydney today. The visitors were all out for 244 shortly before tea while
chasing 465 runs.
Paceman Josh Hazlewood and spinner Steve O'Keefe claimed three wickets
each. For Pakistan, wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed topscored with unbeaten 72 off
70 balls.
David Warner was named man of the match for his scintillating hundred
before lunch on the opening day, while skipper Steve Smith was announced as the
official player of the series.
Earlier, Australia registered a 39-run win at the Gabba and an innings and
18-run victory in Melbourne. They will be touring India next month for a
four-Test series.
