Bengaluru FC will lock horns with Air Force Club of Iraq in the title clash of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup in Doha today, aiming to become the first Indian club to clinch a continental title. Bengaluru FC had become the first Indian club to qualify for the final after they defeated defending champions Johor Darul Ta'zim 4-2 on aggregate in the
semifinals last month.
Ahead of the Final, Bengaluru captain Sunil Chhetri said, the match will be the biggest game of his club career and it means so much to Indian football too.No Indian team in the sport has ever won an Asian level title since the national side bagged the Asian Games Gold at Jakarta in 1962.
