In Billiards, Indian cueist Pankaj Advani won the Songhe Singapore Open title with a 5-1 victory over local favourite Jaden Ong yesterday.

Advani took the first two frames before Ong won the third, but a key snooker by Advani in the

fourth helped him regain control. He wrapped up the match with a dominant 74-6 win in the final frame.

Advani will now head to Doha in November to defend his World Billiards title.
