Bratislava Open: Indian Duo Rithvik and Arjun reach men’s doubles semifinals

In Tennis, India’s Rithvik Choudary Bollipalli and Arjun Kadhe has advanced to the Men’s doubles semi-finals at the Bratislava Open tournament, being held at Slovakia.

     

The Indian duo defeated the pair of Robin Haase of Netherlands and Lucas Miedler of Austria 7-5, 6-4 in the Men’s doubles quarterfinals, yesterday. The duo will now take on the pair of Julian Cash of United Kingdom and Nicolás Barrientos of Colombia in the Men’s doubles semi-finals this



evening. The match is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM IST. Earlier, In the pre-quarterfinal Bollippalli and Kadhe defeated another Indian pair of Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Vijay Sundar Prashanth in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.

     

In another quarterfinal, Indian paddler, N. Sriram Balaji along with his Argentine companion Guido Andreozzi lost to Lukas Pokorny of Slovakia and Michael Vrbensky of Czechia 2-6,5-7 yesterday.
