New York: In US Open Tennis, 5th seed Casper Ruud and 13th seed Matteo Berrettini reached the men's singles quarter-finals in New York on Sunday night.  

Italy’s Berrettini defeated Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the round of 16. While Ruud became the first Norwegian man to reach the US Open quarter-finals with a victory over France’s Corentin Moutet. Ruud will face Berrettini for a place in the semi-finals tomorrow.

Meanwhile, defending champion and No. 1 seed Daniil Medvedev will play against 23rd-seeded Nick Kyrgios in the last 16, today. While 22 Grand Slam titles champion Rafael Nadal will now meet 22nd seed Frances Tiafoe today for a place in the quarter-finals.

World No. 9 Cameron Norrie will lock horns with World No. 11 Andrey Rublev in the fourth round today, while 11th seed Jannik Sinner will square off against Ilya Ivashka in the last 16.

In the Women's singles, World number one Iga Swiatek downed unseeded Lauren Davis and World Number 7-Danielle Collins defeated World N. 11- Alizé Cornet to enter the fourth round. Swiatek will take on Jule Niemeier in the last 16 today.

Australian pair of Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis and 



Dutch-England pair of Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski  have won the second round of Men's Doubles. Australian-American pair of Storm Sanders and Caroline Dolehide and French Kristina Mladenovic and Caroline Garcia also won the second round of Women's Doubles.

Rafael Nadal, Jannik Sinner, Iga Swiatek and Danielle Collins have entered the Fourth Round of the Tournament.

Nadal defeated  Richard Gasquet for the 18th time to reach the fourth round of Men's Single. Nadal will now meet 22nd seed Frances Tiafoe for a place in the quarter-finals.

11th-seed Italian Jannik Sinner overpowered American Brandon Nakashima.

In the Women's singles, World number one Swiatek downed unseeded Lauren Davis and World Number 7-Danielle Collins defeated World N. 11- Alizé Cornet to enter the fourth round.
