Chennai Open: Leander Paes to begin his campaign today

In the Doubles, Leander Paes will begin his campaign today. Paes and his Brazilian team-mate Andre Sa will take on the Indian team of Purav Raja and Divij Sharan in the first round. The pairs of Rohan Bopanna and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan will also play their opening round matches today.

Saketh, who is ranked 192 in the world, lost to seventh seed and world number 57 Mikhail Youzhny of Russia, in straight sets, 4-6, 3-6. In another game, Yuki Bhambri advanced to the second round after beating compatriot Ramkumar Ramanathan, 6-1, 6-1.Yuki is now the only Indian Singles player left in the tournament.
