The Committee of Administrators (COA) today declared the Special General Meeting, SGM held by the Board of Control for Cricket last Friday as invalid.
The Supreme Court-appointed panel said, the meeting was convened and held in violation of the directions issued by the COA on 15th of March this year.
The COA instructed the board officials not to implement the resolutions passed in the June 22nd
meeting.
In the SGM, the Board's general body had cleared the central contracts of the Indian cricketers but that already had COA's approval. The general body had raised an objection to Uttarakhand playing Ranji Trophy from the upcoming season.
However, COA has already made it clear that Uttarakhand will be making their Ranji debut alongside northeastern states and Bihar.
