India came up with an inspiring performance against Malaysia in Gold Coast today to beat their Asian rivals 2-1 and qualify for the semi-final of the Commonwealth Games 2018 .
Harmanpreet Singh scored both goals for India in the first and third quarter to help India win. India have one game remaining in their group. They take on England in that final game and they would like to win it as well.
A win against England will enable India to top the group and by that, they can avoid Australia in the semi-final. In women's hockey today, India will take on South Africa today.
