Cricket Australia has asked the embattled trio of Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft to leave South Africa tour immediately.
Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland announced the decision at a media conference in Johannesburg yesterday in the wake of the premeditated ball-tampering conspiracy that has taken the cricket world by
storm.
He said, Matthew Renshaw, Joe Burns and Glenn Maxwell will replace the three players charged in the Test squad, with Tim Paine officially named captain for the fourth Test.
The embattled trio were involved in ball tampering on the third day of the third Test against South Africa in Cape Town.
