Members of the Sri Lankan men's cricket team hit the training ground on Monday and also began their 12-day Residential Training Camp in Colombo, the country's cricket board confirmed.
A select group of 13 Sri Lanka cricketers, mainly bowlers, resumed training which is being overseen by a coaching and support staff of four.
"Sri Lanka men’s squad taking part in the 12 day ‘Residential Training Camp’ returned to
practice today. The squad primarily consist of bowlers, whilst several players have been included to undergo rehabilitation," Sri Lanka Cricket posted on social media along with pictures of the players and support staff members wearing masks while sitting in a room while following social distancing measures.
The 13 players, led by captain Dimuth Karunaratne, have checked into a hotel for a 12-day residential camp at the Colombo Cricket Club.
