1st ODI between India and Sri Lanka to be played at Guwahati today

Guwahati: The three-match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka will begin today. The first match will be played at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati from 1.30 pm. Skipper Rohit Sharma, who missed India’s last two bilateral series, will return to lead the team.

Bumrah's return to action has now been delayed further after failing to recover fully from his lower back stress fracture. The senior India pacer has been ruled out of the ODI series against Sri Lanka. India last played an ODI series against Sri Lanka in July 2021.
