India dismissed Bangladesh for 150 in their first innings with left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav taking a career-best 5 for 40. Skipper KL Rahul, however, didn't enforce the follow-on.
India then declared their second innings for 258 for 2 after opener Shubman Gill slammed his maiden Test century and Cheteshwar Pujara scripted his
19th Test ton.
Bangladesh to resume their play on Day 4 today with openers Nazmul Hossain Shanto unbeaten at 25 and Zakir Hasan not out with 17 runs.
Note: Bangladesh was batting on 119 for no wicket in 42 overs and still Bangladesh need 394 runs to win the match against India. Zakir Hussian was batting on 55 runs and Najmul Hossain Shanto batting on 64,when the last reports came in.
