3rd T20I: Australia beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets to clinch series

Australia coasted to a 6-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the 3rd T20I at the Manuka Oval to claim a 3-0 unbeatable lead in the 5-match T20I series Down Under. Riding on Glenn Maxwell's quickfire 39 and miserly bowling performance from Kane Richardson and Ashton Agar, Australia restricted Sri Lanka to 121/6 in 20 overs before gunning down the total with 3.1 overs to spare.

Josh Inglis (21 from 18 balls) and Marcus Stoinis (8-ball 12) gave the finishing touches to a relatively easy chase.

Mahesh Theekshana, who grabbed an Indian Premier League contract with Chennai Super Kings on Sunday, shone with the ball with 3 wickets for 24 runs in his 4-over spell but it was not enough for Sri Lanka.
