Abu Dhabi:Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 37 runs to enter the final of the Asia Cup. In the third and final Super Four ODI encounter in Abu Dhabi tonight, Bangladesh bundled out Pakistan to 202 for 9 in stipulated 50 overs.
Earlier, Bangladesh set a victory target of 240 runs for Pakistan. Electing to bat first, they were all out for 239 in 48.5 overs.
Pakistan had a disastrous start, losing three early wickets within the first 4 overs. For Pakistan,
Imam ul Haq showed some great batting display under pressure, scored 83 runs off 105 balls.
Earlier, losing 3 quick wickets with just 12 runs on the board, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammed Mithun steadied Bangladesh innings and the duo were involved in a 144 run partnership for the fourth wicket. Mithun scored 60.
Bangladesh will now meet India in the final at Dubai International Stadium on Friday.
