In Cricket, chasing a victory target of 323, Australia were 186 for 6 against India at lunch on the final day of the Adelaide Test today. Skipper Tim Paine on 40 and Pat Cummins on 5 were at the crease, with the hosts needing 137 runs to win, with 4 wickets in hand.

Australia had resumed play at the overnight score of 104 for 4 this morning, with Shaun Marsh and Travis Head in the middle. Marsh was out for 60 off Jasprit Bumrah, while Head's wicket was claimed by Ishant Sharma when he was at the



score of 14.

Earlier, Ravichandran Ashwin and Mohammed Shami bagged two wickets each. India were bundled out for 307, which gave the Aussies a 323-run target.

In the first innings, India had made 250 after opting to bat, replying to which Australia posted 235.

This Adelaide Test is the first match of the 4-Test series. India have not won a Test in Australia since 2008 and in Adelaide since 2003.
