Ben Stokes returns as England announce 17-member squad for Pakistan Test series

England announced a 17-member squad for their 3-match Test series against Pakistan. The England and Wales Cricket Board named Ben Stokes as the captain of the side. Stokes, who was ruled out of the 3-match series against Sri Lanka due to a hamstring tear will return to his duties against Shan Masood's side in October.

Off-spinner Jack Leach also made his return to the Test side after a long layoff from injury. Leach



picked up a knee injury in the first Test at Hyderabad against India. The spinner got injured when he rammed into the ground while fielding in the first Test in Hyderabad.
