Bhojpuri actress arrested for attacking cricketer Prithvi Shaw

Mumbai: A woman attacked Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw, who plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket, in the Santa Cruz area of Mumbai, the cricketer's home town.

Sapna Gill and a friend, a social media influencer, have been identified as the perpetrators. Sapna is an actress who has appeared in Bhojpuri films alongside industry luminaries like Dinesh Lal Yadav and Ravi Kishan.

Sapna is originally from Chandigarh but currently resides in Mumbai.



On Instagram, she has a 2,19,000. On social media, she posts photos and videos of fashion as well as dance and entertainment videos.

She has appeared in films like "Kashi Amarnath," "Nirhua Chalal London," and "Mera Watan," which came out in 2021.

Gill and her friend had requested a photograph with Shaw. Police say that a security guard later asked Gill and her friend to leave the premises after Shaw did not respond to their initial requests.
