Michael Bracewell and Rachin Ravindra were the stars of the show as New Zealand defeated Bangladesh to make it to the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy 2025 on Monday, February 24. Bracewell picked up 4 wickets and hit the winning runs as the returning Rachin scored a brilliant 112 as New Zealand won the match by 5 wickets.

The win meant that New Zealand and India qualified for the semi-finals as Pakistan and Bangladesh were knocked out. Bracewell changed the complexion of the game



for New Zealand as he picked up 4 for 26 in his 10 overs to ensure that Bangladesh were restricted to 236. Rachin came in when New Zealand were in a spot of bother, but ensured that the win was secured in the end. Bracewell was adjudged as the Player Of The Match and said the main focus of the team was to get the win and secure the semis spot.

The all-rounder said he wanted to keep things as tight as possible. Bracewell also praised Rachin and said he is going from strength to strength.
