Star New Zealand batter Kane Williamson entered an exclusive list of players as he completed 19000 runs in international cricket during the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against South Africa. Williamson reached the milestone in the 20th over of the innings as he scored a single against Marco Jansen.

He became the fourth-fastest batter to reach the milestone, completing it in 440 innings. Star India batter Virat Kohli is the fastest to reach the landmark in 399 innings, followed by Sachin Tendulkar (432 innings) and Brian Lara (433 innings).

Williamson is also the 16th man in international cricket to reach the landmark and became the first player from his country to do so. He went on to bring up his 48th half century off 62 balls, putting on a century stand with Rachin Ravindra for the second wicket.

The former Kiwi skipper has been in



brilliant form in the ongoing year, having scored 341 runs from seven innings at an average of 68.20 with one hundred and two fifties.

He recently scored a brilliant 81 (120) against India in their last group fixture of the Champions Trophy. Earlier, he scored a sensational 133* (113) against South Africa during the second match of the tri-series.

Williamson has been the strongest pillar of New Zealand's batting ever since his debut in 2010 as he’s scored over 19000 runs at an average of 48.62 with 47 hundreds and 152 fifties to his name.

The former Kiwi skipper has 9276 runs in Tests at an average of 54.88 from 33 centuries and 37 fifties. He also has over 7100 runs in ODIs from 163 innings at an average of 49.11 from 14 fifties and 47 fifties. In T20Is, he has 2575 runs from 90 innings at an average of 33.44 and a strike rate of 123.08 with 18 fifties.
