Chennai Super Kings recorded a thrilling five wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Set to score 206 runs for a win, Chennai overhauled the target in 19.4 overs. Skipper M S Dhoni hit the winning runs with a six and remained unbeaten on 70 runs in 34 balls.
M S Dhoni who smashed seven sixes and a boundary was named the man of the match. Ambati Rayudu was the top scorer in the innings
with a fine 82 runs off 53 balls.
Earlier put into bat Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 205 for eight in 20 overs. De Villiers made 68 runs in 30 balls, while de Kock contributed 53 runs.
Chennai Super Kings and Kings Eleven Punjab now have 10 points each, but Chennai top the table on the basis of better Net Run Rate in the eight-teams competition.
