Chennai Super Kings left out their former captain Ravindra Jadeja for a crunch IPL 2022 contest against Delhi Capitals at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, May 8. Captain MS Dhoni confirmed that Jadeja missed out on the crucial game due to a fitness issue.

Jadeja missed a match for CSK in IPL 2022 for the first time since stepping down from the role of captain last month. The all-rounder has been struggling for form in the new season, having managed just 116 runs in 10 matches and 5 wickets so



far.

"Jaddu is not fit and Dube comes in,"skipper Dhoni said after losing the toss to Rishabh Pant in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.
