The dates for a few ICC World Cup matches later this year could change due to requests from other boards, but the venues will remain the same as announced earlier, BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced on Thursday. This opens up the possibility that the date for the India versus Pakistan encounter at the upcoming Cricket World Cup could change but the venue for the crunch clash will still be

The Indian Express had reported on Wednesday that the India-Pakistan World Cup clash was likely to be rescheduled from October 15 as it clashed with the first day of Navratri.

Since Navratri festival is celebrated with great pomp and with mass participation at garba nights across Gujarat, security agencies had reportedly advised the BCCI to tweak the itinerary.
