Yuzvendra Chahal became the first Indian to pick up 350 wickets in T20 cricket. The leg-spinner achieved the feat in Match No.56 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between RR and DC on Tuesday, May 7 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Overall, he became the 11th bowler to the landmark after Dwayne Bravo, Rashid Khan, Sunil Narine, Imran Tahir, Shakib Al Hasan, Andre Russell, Wahab Riaz, Lasith Malinga, Sohail Tanvir and Chris Jordan.
Chahal got the wicket of the dangerous Rishabh Pant to complete
350 T20 wickets. Pant tried to sweep the tweaker, but could not get the proper elevation. Trent Boult, standing at fine leg, took a simple catch. Chahal is also amongst the leading wicket-takers in the ongoing edition of the IPL.
