The second day of the Duleep Trophy final witnessed an enthralling contest between South Zone and West Zone at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. South Zone were dominant with the ball as they left West Zone reeling at 125 for 7 before bad light ended their misery early on Thursday, July 13.
Resuming Day 2 at 182 for 7, South Zone managed to add only 31 runs for the last 3 wickets. Washington Sundar remained unbeaten on 22 after their captain

West Zone began on a bright note as Prithvi Shaw and captain Priyank Panchal added 27 runs for the first wicket. V Koushik drew first bloofd for South Zone when he got Panchal for 11.
Harvik Desai and Prithvi added 70 for the 2nd wicket following which the collapse began.
