First cricket Test between India & England to be played in Chennai from tomorrow

The first cricket Test between India and England will be played in Chennai tomorrow. Tickets for first Test will be restricted to Tamil Nadu Cricket Association member clubs only due to Coronavirus pandemic.

 

Even though the state government has allowed 50 per cent spectators



in the stadium for all sporting events, the two India-England Tests in Chennai will be played in front of empty stands. TNCA secretary RS Ramasaamy said the first Test will be without crowds as we don’t have time to prepare for 50 percent crowd.
