Former Bangaldesh captain Mashrafe Morataza has tested postive for Covid-19, his brother Morsalin Mortaza confirmed on Saturday.
"My brother has had a fever for two days. He did the test last night. Today came the test positive. He is at home in isolation," Morsalin told Cricbuzz.
Nazmul Islam and Nafees Iqbal, two other Bangladesh cricketers, also tested positive for the virus on
Saturday.
Mashrafe Mortaza has supported the coronavirus victims in Bangladesh with all his hearts since the outbreak of the pandemic. From donating his Bangladesh cricket’s salary to supporting 300 needy families in Narail, his birthplace and the Lohagara upazila with food and essential items, the 36-year-old has done it all.
Mortaza has represented captained Bangladesh in all the 3 formats and have played 36 Tests, 220 ODIs and 54 T20Is for his country.
