In the latest ICC T20I rankings for batsmen, announced after the conclusion of the 3-match series between India and Australia, India captain Virat Kohli and wicket-batsman KL Rahul have climbed a spot each to grab the 8th and the 3rd position, respectively.

Virat kohli was in sublime form during the T20I series which India won 2-1, scoring 134 runs at an average of 44.66. The 32-year-old scored 85 runs in the final match of the series on Tuesday. Also, KL Rahul scored 81 runs in the three matches to jump a spot to third with 816 points.

Injured opener Rohit Sharma lost points but he continues to be India's third-highest ranked T20I batsman. The swashbuckling right-hander is now occupying the 14th spot. Southpaw Shikhar Dhawan has made gains and reached the 19th spot in the rankings.

In the latest T20I rankings for bowlers, 21-year-old off-spinner Washington Sundar is the highest-ranked Indian bowler. Sundar featured in all the 3 matches for India and succeeded in scalping 2 wickets but his economy of 7.08 despite bowling in the Powerplay overs, impressed one and all.

Keeping in mind the upcoming 4-match Test series, Jasprit Bumrah was rested in all 3 T20I matches. This has affected his ranking as he has slipped to 17th position on the chart.

Australia spinner Adam Zampa and England pacer Chris Jordan are the two biggest gainers. Zampa jumped two places to feature in the top five, whereas, Jordan occupies the 10th spot now. The first and the second spot is occupied by Afghanistan spin duo of Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman, respectively.
