The International Cricket Council (ICC) is likely to announce the schedule of the Champions Trophy 2025 on November 11. An ICC delegation is likely to visit Lahore from November 10 to 12 to assess the arrangements for the mega event set to be played in February-March next year.
During the visit, an event related to the tournament is likely to be organized where the schedule and other details are likely to be unveiled. According to a report in The Express Tribune, the schedule for the event has already been shared with all the participating nations and the schedule
and other details will be released in a grand attended by the who’s who of the cricketing fraternity and other eminent personalities.
As per the proposed schedule, Pakistan will be placed in Group A alongside India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B consists of England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan. However, India are yet to confirm their participation in the tournament in Pakistan and is still having discussions with their government who will take the final call on the matter due to the uncordial political relations between the two countries.
