ICC World Cup 2023: Sri Lanka win toss and opt to bat first against Pakistan at Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka has won the toss and opted to bat against Pakistan at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. They have made one change with Maheesh Theekshana replacing Kasun Rajitha. As for Pakistan, Babar Azam has dropped the woefully out of form Fakhar Zaman, and getting Abdullah Shafique on board to open alogside Imam-ul-Haq.

Although it



is a group game these two Asian giants have their own history to rewrite, their own score to settle. The action will unfold place at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad today (October 10). Pakistan have already started to get a home away from home feel at Hyderabad. They have been practising and playing at this venue for the last couple of weeks
